Travel: 2-hour drive to the town of Ccolca.
Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty breakfast in Ccolca.
Continue: Drive south to Checacupe, where you can see an Inca bridge alongside a colonial bridge.
Journey Onward: 1-hour drive to the trek’s starting point.
Hike: 30-45 minute gradual ascent to Palccoyo Pass (4,800 meters / 16,000 feet).
Views: Panoramic sights of three rainbow mountains and Ausangate Mountain (6,384 meters / 20,944 feet).
Explore: Visit the Bosque de Piedra (Stone Forest) at the mountain’s highest point.
Return: Descend back to the starting point.
