This full-day adventure to the glacial Humantay Lake (4,200 meters/13,779 feet) is a breathtaking expedition that takes you to one of Peru’s most stunning natural wonders and returns you to Cusco city the same day. The journey begins with a scenic drive through picturesque landscapes of the Peruvian highlands.  Upon arrival at the trailhead, you will embark on a moderate hike through the majestic Andean mountains with a captivating view of Salkantay Mountain, passing by lush valleys and charming villages.  As you ascend, the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake gradually come into view, nestled amidst the towering snow-capped peaks of Humantay Mountain. Trip Details

CUSCO – HUMANTAY LAKE – CUSCO

04:30 AM: Early pick-up from your hotel in private transportation.
Travel: 2-hour scenic drive to Mollapata.
Breakfast: Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast in Mollapata.
Continue: 1-hour drive to Soraypampa, the trailhead of the trek.
Hike: 2-hour uphill journey to Humantay Lake.
Views: Surrounding snow-capped mountains, valleys, and flora.
Humantay Lake: Enjoy the striking turquoise lake, take pictures, and relax in the serene environment.
Descend: Hike back to the trailhead.
Return: Board private transportation and head to lunch.
Arrival: Return to your hotel in Cusco before sunset.
