Trip Details

Day 1: Lima

Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Optional city tour includes Huaca Pucllana, Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral, San Francisco Monastery, Larcomar, and coastal views.

Day 2: Paracas – Ballestas Islands – Huacachina – Return to Lima

Head to Paracas for a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands and the Candelabra geoglyph. Continue to the Huacachina Oasis for dune buggy rides and sandboarding. Return to Lima in the evening.

Day 3: Lima – Cusco

Flight from Lima to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day acclimating to the altitude or exploring the nearby historic center.

Day 4: Cusco City Tour

Explore Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Afternoon free to enjoy the city center.

Day 5: Sacred Valley Tour

Explore Pisac ruins and artisan market, enjoy a scenic buffet lunch in Urubamba, and tour Ollantaytambo. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 6: Short Inca Trail – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes

Begin the 1-day Inca Trail at Km 104, visiting Chachabamba and Wiñay Wayna before arriving at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for your first view of Machu Picchu. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 7: Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes

Guided tour of Machu Picchu with optional hikes to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Afternoon free to explore Aguas Calientes.

Day 8: Ollantaytambo – Moray & Maras ATV Adventure – Chinchero – Cusco

Take the train to Ollantaytambo, then enjoy an ATV ride to Moray and the salt mines of Maras. Stop in Chinchero for a weaving demonstration before returning to Cusco.

Day 9: Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)

Early morning departure for the hike to Rainbow Mountain. Enjoy sweeping views of colorful mineral formations at 5,030 meters. Return to Cusco in the late afternoon.

Day 10: Cusco – Lima

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima and connect to your international departure.
