Trip Details

Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Optional city tour includes Huaca Pucllana, Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral, San Francisco Monastery, Larcomar, and coastal views.

Day 2: Paracas – Ica (Huacachina)

Visit the Ballestas Islands by boat, see the Candelabro geoglyph, and go dune buggy riding and sandboarding at the Huacachina Oasis.

Day 3: Nazca Lines Flight

Scenic overflight of the Nazca Lines, free time in Paracas, and return to Lima in the afternoon.

Day 4: Fly to Arequipa – City Tour

Fly to Arequipa and explore the White City’s top sites, including Santa Catalina Monastery and the Yanahuara viewpoint.

Day 5: Colca Canyon – Day 1

Scenic drive through the altiplano and Salinas Reserve with wildlife sightings and cultural stops en route to Chivay or Yanque.

Day 6: Cruz del Cóndor – Fly to Cusco

Witness condors in flight over the canyon, return to Arequipa, and take a late afternoon flight to Cusco. Spend the evening acclimating to the altitude or exploring the nearby historic center.

Day 7: Cusco City Tour

Guided visits to Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 8: Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

Explore Pisac ruins and artisan market, enjoy a scenic buffet lunch in Urubamba, tour Ollantaytambo, then take the train to Aguas Calientes.

Day 9: Machu Picchu

Guided exploration of Machu Picchu with optional hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Free time in town.

Day 10: Maras – Moray – Chinchero – Return to Cusco

Visit the salt mines of Maras, the circular terraces of Moray, and a traditional weaving center in Chinchero.

Day 11: Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)

Early morning departure for the hike to Rainbow Mountain. Enjoy sweeping views of colorful mineral formations at 5,030 meters. Return to Cusco in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Fly to Puerto Maldonado – Enter the Amazon

Flight to the jungle, boat journey along the Tambopata River, and arrival at your rainforest lodge.

Day 13: Amazon Rainforest Exploration

Morning wildlife excursion, guided jungle hike, and night walk to experience the rainforest after dark.

Day 14: Deeper Jungle Discovery

Explore deeper into the forest, visit sustainable gardens, and learn about the relationship between people and the rainforest.

Day 15: Return to Lima

Boat ride back to Puerto Maldonado and flight to Lima. Trip ends or connection with international departure.
