Day 1: Lima

Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Optional city tour includes Huaca Pucllana, Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral, San Francisco Monastery, Larcomar, and coastal views.

Day 2: Fly to Puerto Maldonado – Enter the Amazon

Fly to Puerto Maldonado and transfer by boat to your Amazon lodge along the Tambopata River. Settle into your jungle retreat and meet your naturalist guide.

Day 3: Amazon Rainforest Exploration

Morning wildlife excursion on the river, followed by a guided jungle walk to learn about medicinal plants and native ecosystems. Optional night walk to experience the rainforest after dark.

Day 4: Deeper Jungle Discovery

Venture deeper into the forest, visit a sustainable garden, and gain insight into the relationship between local communities and the rainforest. Enjoy your final evening at the lodge.

Day 5: Tambopata – Puerto Maldonado – Cusco

Return by boat to Puerto Maldonado and fly to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival and spend the rest of the day acclimating to the altitude or exploring the nearby historic center.

Day 6: Sacred Valley

Explore Pisac ruins and artisan market, enjoy a scenic buffet lunch in Urubamba, and tour Ollantaytambo. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 7: Maras – Moray – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

Visit the salt mines of Maras, agricultural terraces of Moray, and explore the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Take the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes.

Day 8: Machu Picchu – Cusco

Tour Machu Picchu’s temples, plazas, and terraces with optional hikes to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Return to Cusco via train and private transfer.

Day 9: Cusco City Tour

Visit Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Afternoon free to enjoy museums, cafés, or shops in the historic center.

Day 10: Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)

Early morning departure for the hike to Rainbow Mountain. Enjoy sweeping views of colorful mineral formations at 5,030 meters. Return to Cusco in the late afternoon.

Day 11: Cusco – Lima

Relaxed morning before your transfer to the airport for your return flight to Lima and connection to your international departure.
