Trip Details

Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – Sacred Valley
Arrive in Cusco and transfer directly to the Sacred Valley for a gentler altitude adjustment. Scenic stops along the way. Free time to rest and acclimate.

Day 2: Maras – Moray – Pisac
Visit the circular agricultural terraces of Moray and the salt mines of Maras. Enjoy a scenic buffet lunch in Urubamba, followed by a guided tour of Pisac’s archaeological site and vibrant market.

Day 3: Pottery Workshop – Ollantaytambo – Train to Aguas Calientes
Participate in a hands-on ceramics workshop at Kintu Studio. Explore the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Take the scenic train to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco
Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu’s temples, terraces, and ceremonial spaces. Optional hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Return to Cusco by train and private transfer.

Day 5: Free Morning in Cusco – Peruvian Cooking Class
Free time to explore Cusco. In the afternoon, shop for local ingredients and prepare a four-course meal with a local chef, including a classic Pisco Sour.

Day 6: Humantay Lake Hike
Early morning departure to hike to the stunning turquoise Humantay Lake. Participate in an optional Pachamama offering. Lunch en route and return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 7: Southern Valley Tour
Discover the hydraulic engineering of Tipón, the pre-Inca site of Pikillaqta, and the colonial church of Andahuaylillas. Return to Cusco for a relaxing final evening.

Day 8: Cusco – Lima
Enjoy a relaxed morning before your private transfer to the airport for your return flight to Lima.
