Trip Details

CUSCO – VINICUNCA – CUSCO

04:30 AM: Early pick-up from your hotel in private transportation.
Travel: 2-hour drive southeast to the Ccolpa community for breakfast.
Continue: 1-hour drive to Quesiuno community (4,326 meters / 14,189 feet).
Hike: Begin a challenging 2-hour uphill trek to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca).
Elevation: Summit at 5,020 meters / 16,466 feet.
Experience: Breathtaking landscapes, traditional Andean villages, herds of alpacas and llamas, diverse high-altitude flora and fauna.
Views: Vibrant mineral deposits creating a colorful tapestry.
Descent: 1.5-hour hike back to the starting point.
Return: Drive back to the Ccolpa community for lunch.
Arrive in Cusco: Drop-off at your hotel around 16:00.
