The snow-capped Ausangate Mountain (6,384 meters/20,944 feet) is located 100 kilometers/62 miles southwest of Cusco in the Vilcanota mountain range. Trip Details
CUSCO – 7 LAGOONS – PACCHANTA HOT SPRINGS – CUSCO
04:00 AM: Early pick-up from your hotel in private transportation.
Travel: 3-hour drive to the community of Pacchanta (4,200 meters / 13,779 feet).
Breakfast: Prepared by your personal trekking chef in Pacchanta.
Hike: Begin your 5-hour trek around the Ausangate Mountain (6,384 meters / 20,944 feet).
Views: Snow-capped peaks, mountain passes, valleys, local flora, and fauna (condors, vicuñas, llamas, alpacas).
7 Lagoons: Explore Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, and others with their distinct colors.
Return: Descend back to the trailhead.
Lunch: Enjoy a well-deserved hot lunch prepared by your chef.
Return to Cusco: Board private transportation back to your hotel, arriving around 18:00.
